Episode 5 : The Burning

Back once again, I bet you didn’t believe we would actually record this soon! Actually that would imply anyone was listening, and we all know that ain’t true, huh?

This week, as part of our Stand-alone Slasher Month, we cover 1981′s seminal The Burning. Of course, it wouldn’t be us if we didn’t talk about other nonsense. So listen with glee as we look at the slasher rules, a Fisher Stevens retrospective, the perversion of Jews in Hollywood, Jamie’s review of Laid To Rest, and much much more.

It’s also worth mentioning that this is take two. We managed to lose the original recording through technology hating us or whatever. The first version was actually pretty concise and interesting. This one? Not so much.

We listen. We hate ourselves for it. But we listen.

Loved the cast. I chuckled a bunch. I may even watch the flick. I thought of loads of insightful stuff to say whilst listening, but kept drinking. So the only thing that comes to mind now is… J. Doing a cast on a film you haven’t seen would just suck. Watch it!!! And S. You watch it too. You’d look dead daft if J sounded better informed.

I’ll listen to this cast again at some point and post the insightful shit. I’m pretty sure some of it had something to do with the ‘rules’ and it being an 80′s movie (this may also have something to do with tits too, but I’ll have to get back to you on that).

Wuh? The first comment was posted on facebook. How comes it’s here but not there?

    Technology confuses me.

I don’t understand the second comment. Like, at all.

    *scratches head in confusion*
