Gory Feldman!

Guess who’s coming to the UK? The star of The Lost Boys , The Lost Boys 2, The Lost Boys 3, Gremlins, The Goonies, Stand By Me, The Burbs (“Pizza Dude!”), and my favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle – Donatello! Yeah, I’m a fan of Corey Feldman. Get over it.

Corey Feldman is confirmed to be in his first UK independent feature film titled THE ZOMBIE KING, taking on the role of ‘KALFU’ the God of Malevolence. And frogs? Probably not.

The Zombie King is a Grindhouse Style feature film with a blend of comedy, action, nail biting tension and Feldman. Love horror? Love zombies? Love Feldman? Then The Zombie King will rock your twisted little world.

During November 2011 good old / eternally young-looking Corey Feldman will be in the UK filming his role in The Zombie King, which is Northern Girl Productions Ltd first film as a company (bloody good work on catching the Feldman first time around). The Zombie King is produced by Rebecca-Clare Evans and Jennifer Chippindale and directed by Shaun Robert Smith.

Along with Corey Feldman the cast is packed with fantastic UK names including Giles Alderson (The Torment) Jay Sutherland (Pulp), George McCluskey (Frontman), Patrick Toomey (The Curse of the King Tut’s Tomb) and Anabel Barnston (Coming of Age)  just to name a few. There’s also another special star, but that’s not been revealed yet. Danny Trejo? You wish.

Samuel Peters – once an ordinary man – dabbles within the laws of voodoo to bring his wife back from the grave, but he soon encounters the God of malevolence ‘Kalfu’ (Corey Feldman). Awed by Feldman – sorry, Kalfu – he makes a pact with the cruel-hearted God to destroy the underworld and bring chaos to earth. Why?! Well, in return Samuel will become ‘The Zombie King’ and walk the earth for eternity with his belated wife.

With the ever growing horde of zombies, they begin to completely wipe out a countryside town. Once the government get wind of what is going on, they set a perimeter around the town area and employ a shoot-on-sight policy.

Trapped within the town, the locals and unlikely bunch of misfits fight for their lives, and the remaining humans soon realise that they have to unite in order to survive. Can our hero’s unravel the clues in time and survive or will The Zombie King and his horde of undead freaks rise on the night of the dark moon?
