Nazi Dawn gets UK release

A dark and ghostly wartime secret is about to be uncovered when a battle between good and evil breaks out aboard a WWII-era battleship in Nazi Dawn, set for release through Revolver Entertainment on August 30th 2010.

When the SS Lane Victory, reactivated and deployed in the Persian Gulf for black-op interrogations, falls radio silent, an elite Marine task force are sent to apprehend the terrorists. Led by Col. John Willets (Lance Henriksen), the team find one survivor, John’s son Colin (Gary Stretch).

But as the soldiers search for the men responsible for the bloody butchery of the ship’s crew, they soon discover a more devious enemy than any of them had ever imagined and all hell breaks loose as they become locked in brutal battle to the death…

Yeah… As much as I love Lance Henriksen and the vast majority of his work, I can only recommend that you find a blunt teaspoon and use it to remove your eyes, and those of your loved ones (theirs first, obviously. Cos not only would it be tricky, but also unnecessarily painful and messy if you did it the other way round) before sitting down to watch this horrendous waste of celluloid.

Nasty flesh eating beasties are bad. Nazi’s are bad. Combining the two means you are onto a winner, right? Hell, it’s worked so well with other films… Outpost and Deathwatch (although this one is tenuous, cos it was WW1, so they technically not Nazi’s) spring to mind.

But this one SOOOO does not. It is one of the few films in my collection that I really could not bring myself to watch through to the end… On several attempts.

By all means buy it or borrow it from a mate. But, seriously, don’t bother watching it.

I missed that out of the previous post. Just stick it in where you feel it is appropriate.
